Hello, just a small tech question. With the Root Industries headset there are two washers, this is new to me. Do you use them with HIC and if so where?

You can use the washers to fill the space between the DUST CAP and the top headset bearing.
Only if you DUST CAP put too much pressure on the head tube. (See picture below)

My compression bolt always loose and bolt just falls and just drops on to the wheel.
Answers:
You can add a little thread locker on the compression bolt(loctite).

#1 Unscrew the clamp on the bar.
#2 Remove the bar.
#3 Tighten the screw on the top of the fork.(see picture)

I want to know the diameter of my scooter bar.
ANSWER 4:
You can use a ruler or measuring tape.
Standard Bar Outer diameter 31.8mm
Overzised Bar Outer diameter 34.9mm
QUESTION 5:
The compression on my scooter always become loose, I need to tighten it very often.
ANSWER 5:
-Clean up everything with a good cleaner (inside the bar, the inside of the clamp, spacers, sleeve, screw) Klenn-Flo works well.(Read the manufacturers instructions)
-Use a metric hex allen key to screw the bolt.
-Put some threadlocker Medium Strength on the compression screw.

My son has ridden it to and from school for the last three days, and each night we are having to realign, despite the fact that the clamp remains tight.

TIPS
# 1 Remove dust on the inside the bar and on the fork.
# 2 Install the clamp on the scooter. Aim the screws alternately a little at a time
